Furniture museum Steinheim / photo shoot

After several meetings everything was finally ready, on April 23, 2016 I met with my photographer Michael Zenke at the Steinheim Furniture Museum to shoot the photos for my first website. My car was loaded with props, which I had borrowed from friends and relatives. It was important to me to create a certain atmosphere for the photos, to give them an identity. At the same time, we were also busy with the final layouts of my brand logo makoni design. I felt both complemented one another very naturally and harmoniously.

We spent the whole day in the workshop and in the exhibition rooms of the museum, always finding new interesting settings. At the end of the day, we had shot twice the number of planned photos and were both exhausted. The operators of the furniture museum had given us completely free use of the museum and we could switch around at will setting up the location according to our own ideas as we desired. At this point, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to the furniture museum and to August Waldhoff for his interested openness. You can find out more about the Steinheimer Furniture museum at and about Michael Zenke in the article 06.01.2015.

By the way, the museum was formerly a furniture factory, where my father under Joseph Günther from 1966-67 completed part of his training. We believe he had worked at one of the planers in my photos – and so the circle closes.
